Court records show that a witness originally saw Caddle dumping a garbage bag into a dumpster in August. When the witness recovered the garbage bag, it was found to contain deliverable mail.

The next day, investigating postal agents  found five additional garbage bags full of deliverable mail outside Caddle's home.

Caddle appeared before a U.S. Magistrate Judge in Fort Lauderdale on Wednesday morning.

If convicted, Caddle could be sentenced to up five years in prison for each charge.
