Vandals destroy Florida Keys tourist trolleys

KEY WEST, Fla. – Detectives are looking for suspects who damaged multiple tourist trolleys in the Florida Keys.

The four trolleys owned by Historic Tours of America were parked in a lot on Stock Island when the vandalism took place between Oct. 14 and Oct. 17.

A concrete block was used to smash windows and headlights on the vehicles and the trolleys were also spray-painted.

Damage was estimated to be $10,000

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with information on the incident to contact Crime Stoppers of the Florida Keys at 1-800-346-TIPS or go to www.tipsubmit.com to send in a tip anonymously.
