MIAMI-DADE, Fla. – Miami-Dade police officers caught up to men trying to get away in a stolen car in Northwest Miami-Dade on Friday night.
When officers heard shots fired, they saw men in an Audi speeding away. As they tried to catch up, they learned the Audi was stolen.
The men crashed into the wall of a Dollar Store at 117 Street and 27th Avenue. Police arrested one, but the other took off running.
The stolen vehicle had bullet holes. A helicopter was searching in the area of Northwest 27th Avenue and 119th Street.
