Teen punches pregnant woman in face during Walmart parking lot fight, police say

Taiyaima Jean, 18, is accused of punching a pregnant woman in the face during an argument in the parking lot of a Walmart in Boynton Beach.

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. – An 18-year-old woman punched a pregnant woman who was holding a toddler when a fight escalated in the parking lot of a South Florida Walmart store, police said.

A Boynton Beach police report said two sisters walked in front of a car that Taiyaima Jean was sitting in last Thursday evening.

Police said Jean and the women started arguing over who had the right-of-way. Jean got out of the car and chest bumped the pregnant woman before hitting her in the face.

The woman, who is four months pregnant, was holding her 3-year-old niece at the time.

Police said the woman set the girl down and began fighting Jean. Her sister also joined in the fight.

Jean remains jailed on charges of aggravated battery on a pregnant woman, child abuse and simple battery.
