Deputies arrest Pablo Sanchez Jr. on burglary charge

KEY WEST, Fla. – A Miami woman called the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office over the weekend and told deputies her son broke into her apartment through a back window, deputies said.

The woman told deputies her 21-year-old son, Pablo Sanchez Jr., did not have permission to be in her apartment, that he has drug problem and has stolen from her in the past.

Deputies went to the apartment building on Third Avenue on Stock Island, where they saw Sanchez through a front window, a report said.

Sanchez initially refused to come out of the apartment, but he eventually complied after deputies told him a dog would be called if he didn't come out.

When taken into custody, Sanchez had a cellphone in his possession that he had taken from inside the residence, deputies said.

Sanchez was arrested on charges of burglary, criminal mischief and resisting arrest.
