According to an arrest report, the couple went on a shopping spree with the card, spending more than $200 at Victoria's Secret and more than $1,500 at Bloomingdales.

Police said the victim contacted a Bloomingdales' loss prevention officer after he realized his card was missing and checked his account to find that it had just been used at the department store.

The loss prevention officer found the fraudulent transaction in the register system and reviewed the store's surveillance video to identity the suspects.

Police said Hernandez and Rodriguez were still inside the store at the time, and the officer began following their moves on surveillance video.

The couple purchased several pairs of shoes, including a pair of $684.80 Gucci shoes for Hernandez, before they were stopped by the loss prevention officer, the report said.

All of the merchandise was recovered.

Police said three counterfeit credit cards were found in Hernandez's wallet.

The couple was arrested on multiple charges, including grand theft, petty theft, fraudulently using someone's personal identification, credit card fraud and possession of a stolen credit or debit card. Hernandez also faces a charge of forgery of a credit card.
