MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – Three people were arrested Thursday in connection with the armed robbery of an Uber driver in Miami Shores, authorities said.
The carjacking was reported about 2 p.m.

Police said they received an anonymous call, which led them to the area of 88th Street and Biscayne Boulevard, where the suspects were taken into custody in front of the Tropical Chevrolet dealership.
Police said the suspects were in possession of a short-barrel shotgun and an assault-style rifle.
Their identities were not immediately released.
