MIAMI – A driver fled the scene Tuesday after crashing into a Miami police car following a chase, authorities said.
Sky 10 was above Northwest Third Avenue and 71st Street shortly before 12:30 p.m. and saw a large police presence in the area.

Miami police said the crash happened near a Family Dollar store at 7200 NW Second Ave., where an armed robbery was reported.
Detectives do not believe at this time that the two crimes are related.
