Thieves get away with $60,000 worth of cookies, crackers

Men caught on camera stealing 2 trailers filled with Nabisco products

WESTON, Fla. – Authorities are searching for a group of thieves who stole two trailers filled with cookies and crackers last month from a warehouse in Weston.

Broward Sheriff Office deputies are currently investigating the crime that occurred at 2 a.m. on Nov. 24.

The trailers were stolen from a warehouse located at 1700 N. Commerce Parkway in Weston. They were later recovered in Hialeah two days after the theft occurred, but the $60,000 worth of Nabisco cookies and crackers were gone.

Video surveillance of the crime shows the trailers being driven away after the men hooked them onto two white tractor trucks.

The dashcam in the trailer briefly revealed the face of only one man before he quickly covered the camera with a white cloth.

BSO deputies are searching for the three men who are responsible for driving away with the stolen goods.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
