Armed woman gets away with tip jar money at Dunkin' Donuts in Davie

Employee runs out back of store, police say

DAVIE, Fla. – An armed woman dressed in all black held up an employee Saturday at a Dunkin' Donuts in Davie, authorities said.

The robbery was reported at 10:42 a.m. at the Dunkin Donuts at 5021 South SR 7.

Davie police Sgt. Mark Leone said the woman pulled out a large-frame revolver pistol from her jacket and told the clerk to open the register.

Surveillance video shows the clerk running out the back of the store.

Leone said the woman grabbed the cash and coins from the tip jar, and walked out of the store.

She is described as white and in her mid-20s with piercings in each cheek of her face. She also has a tongue ring.

Anyone with information about her identity is asked to call Davie police at 954-693-8200 or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. A reward of up to $3,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
