Men steal cash, electronics from victim they met at Twist nightclub, police say

Victim wakes up to find valuables missing

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. ā€“ Miami Beach police are searching for two men who robbed a man after they met him at a gay nightclub in Miami Beach, authorities said.

According to an incident report, the victim met the suspects early Oct. 7 at Twist nightclub on Washington Avenue.

Police said the men went home with the victim about 4 a.m. He woke up about 7:30 a.m. and found that some of his belongings were missing, including his iPhone, iPad, laptop, jewelry and $2,500 in cash.

Newly released surveillance video from the victim's apartment lobby show the suspects leaving with the stolen items.

The victim told police that he didn't know the suspects' names.
