BSO detectives investigate fatal shootings

NORTH LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Broward Sheriff's Office detectives were investigating the death of a girl and a woman Saturday morning in North Lauderdale.

When deputies arrived, they found Jada Allen, 15, and Temoco Williams, 48, had been shot.

Oglseby said the girl was pronounced dead at the scene. Her mother was taken to Broward Health North, where she was pronounced dead.

"In North Lauderdale, that's not supposed to happen," James Dowling said. "That's not our type (of) neighborhood."

Detectives were collecting evidence at the scene and trying to determine who was responsible for the shootings.

Anyone with information was asked to call BSO detectives at 954-321-4214 or Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
