St. John Neumann Catholic School evacuated because of bomb threat

Police deem school safe after bomb-sniffing dogs conduct sweep

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – St. John Neumann Catholic School was evacuated Thursday morning because of a bomb threat.

Miami-Dade police Detective Alvaro Zabaleta said someone called the school to report a bomb.

Bomb-sniffing dogs conducted a sweep of the school, and police deemed the school safe.

Zabaleta said all students were allowed to return to class.
