MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Miami-Dade police are searching for two men who pushed a woman to the ground and stole her cellphone.
The robbery was reported Jan. 30 in the area of 9198 NW Eighth Ave.
Newly released surveillance video shows the men robbing the victim at gunpoint.
Police said the 34-year-old woman was getting out of her car when one of the robbers pointed a gun at her and pushed her to the ground, snatching her cellphone.
"My first instinct wasn't to think I was in danger," the woman told Local 10 News. "It was maybe somebody asking for directions or a question."
The second man tried to drive away in the woman's car, but was unable to do so, police said.
Both robbers ran away.
The woman said the experience has changed her.
"I'm always looking around, for sure, and more aware of my surroundings," she said.
