POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – A 28-year-old man was stabbed to death Monday night, just minutes from his Pompano Beach home.
Broward Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Gina Carter said deputies were called to a stabbing shortly before 10:30 p.m. at 2649 NW Sixth Court. Deputies found David Campbell on the ground, unresponsive and suffering from a stab wound.

Campbell was taken to Broward Health North, where he was pronounced dead.
Homicide detectives are investigating.
