MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A person was injured Sunday after in a construction accident in Southwest Miami-Dade, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue reports.
The incident took place about 9:15 a.m. near Southwest 14th Street and Southwest 112nd Avenue.

The person was pinned under a piece of equipment, that had fallen on top of him, fire officials said.
Firefighters worked to free the person from the heavy machinery.
The person was then taken to an area trauma center for treatment.
