Robbery reported March 5

LAUDERDALE LAKES, Fla. – A robber held up an AutoZone store earlier this month in Lauderdale Lakes, authorities said.

The robbery was reported just before 11 a.m. March 5 at the AutoZone at 3351 W. Oakland Park Blvd.

Broward Sheriff's Office deputies said the man walked behind the sales counter and ordered an employee to open the cash drawer.

Deputies said the robber demanded that a second and third register be opened before he fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
