Deputies tell owners to use cables, chains to secure scooters

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – Residents of Pompano Beach, particularly in the Harbor Village, Cresthaven and Highland neighborhoods, are being warned of a recent rash of motor scooter thefts from driveways, garages and carports.
