Masked gunman robs Pembroke Pines bank

Anyone with information about robbery asked to call FBI

The FBI believes this gunman was wearing a mask when he robbed a Chase branch Tuesday afternoon on University Drive in Pembroke Pines.

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – The FBI is trying to identify a masked gunman who robbed a bank Tuesday afternoon in Pembroke Pines.

FBI spokesman Jim Marshall said the man entered the Chase branch on University Drive shortly after 12:30 p.m., pulled out a gun and demanded money from an employee.

Marshall said investigators believe that the robber was wearing a mask.

No injuries were reported.

Marshall didn't say how much money was taken.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the FBI office in South Florida at 754-703-2000.
