MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A female suspect who escaped from officers Wednesday in northwest Miami-Dade has been found, authorities said.
Miami-Dade police said the suspect had just been arrested for a burglary to a vehicle.
Police were searching for her between Northwest Eighth Avenue and 10th Avenue, from 79th Street to 80th Street.
Police said the woman was handcuffed during the entire ordeal.
Sky 10 was above Northwest 10th Avenue and 77th Street shortly before 5 p.m. as the woman was apprehended.
Officers took her to the ground as she appeared to argue with them before putting her into the back of a police cruiser.
No other details were immediately released.
