Giant snake misses hole in golf course invasion

SOUTH AFRICA – There are a lot of reasons why the popularity of golf has waned over the years, but this one may top them all.

A massive snake slithered onto the eighth hole of a South African golf course, and it was all captured on video.

Surprisingly, the two golfers playing the hole at the Zimbali Country Club didn't seem to mind that a giant African rock python was paying an unwelcomed visit.

One of the golfers even walked up and touched the snake before it moved away.

ESPN reports the African rock python is nonvenomous and "very rarely kills humans." So that makes things all better.
