Could the 'Cop Romper' be heading to a police department near you?

MIAMI – If the male romper ever truly becomes a "thing," law enforcement may turn a blind eye to the heinous fashion creation.

That's because a "Cop Romper" could be part of the fad.

Two Southern California police officers had a little fun with the latest craze by debuting their own romper video.

WTTG reports the officers, nicknamed Deputy Hook'em and Deputy Book'em, posted the parody video to their Facebook and YouTube.

So far, the video has been seen an arresting 2 million times on Facebook.

The officers got their idea after seeing the outcry over the introduction of the male rompers earlier this month.

Unfortunately, the "Cop Romper" won't be coming to a beat near you as Deputy Hook'em claims there are no plans for mass production.
