MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A person was stabbed with a bottle Monday in Miami Beach after a fight broke out among a group of people, police said.
During the fight, which took place at about 3:30 p.m. near Sixth Street, by the beach, a man was stabbed with a bottle., police said.
The fighters were separated and then ran away, according to police.
With the help of a witness ,Miami Beach police said they were able to identify one of the participants in the fight.
The victim was taken to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
The victim, who is an adult, told police he didn't know who stabbed him and did not want to pursue any criminal charges, police said.
The weapon wasn't located, and the victim did not sustain life-threatening injuries.
