Miami-Fort Lauderdale ranks behind several Texas cities

MIAMI – South Floridians will probably find this hard to believe, but we do not live in the most mosquito ravaged area in the United States.

In its new rankings of the country's most mosquito-bugged cities, Terminix ranks Miami and Fort Lauderdale only fifth in the entire U.S.

(We'll let that sink in as you apply more bug spray on your arms and legs while you try and read this article.)

Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio make up the "Texas Triumvirate" that hold the top three spots in the rankings that determine the areas where service has been most requested.
