TAMARAC, Fla. – The FBI is searching for a gunman who robbed a Tamarac bank Wednesday afternoon.

FBI spokesman Jim Marshall said the robbery took place shortly after 12:30 p.m. at the PNC Bank branch on North University Drive.

A surveillance photo showed the robber entering the bank and pointing a gun as he walked toward the counter.

Marshall said he demanded money from a bank employee.

Another photo showed a man in a white dress shirt standing in front of the robber, hunched over the counter.

A third photo showed what appears to be a woman crouched under the other side of the counter, hiding from the robber.

The gunman was dressed in all black, wearing a bucket hat, a jacket with the hood over the hat, sunglasses, gloves, and a brown handkerchief wrapped around his mouth.

The FBI will not release the amount of money the robber taken during the robbery.
