Miami police, Pridelines Youth Services, Miami Heat host event

MIAMI – At the rear of the American Airlines Arena there was a revolving sign Monday that shows photos of all 49 victims of the Pulse nightclub massacre.

In addition to the photos, the Miami Police department and the LGBTQ group Pridelines Youth Services hosted an event at the arena with the Miami Heat.

An interfaith prayer service, a mural painting, a place to sign a memorial card, and a candlelight vigil were on the agenda.

The program is expected to run until 9 p.m. Monday and is open to the public.
