NEW YORK – Two customers upset over a wrong order at a Bronx deli were caught on video throwing avocados at employees.
The barrage was so fierce, one of the employees suffered a broken jaw.
The New York Post reports the men ordered sandwiches in the early morning of May 29. When the cook got the order wrong, the men became angry.
One of the men grabbed avocados at a nearby display and began throwing them in the direction of the employees.
After being struck, one of the employees collapses onto the ground.
The other man soon joins in and the two continue throwing avocados and bananas across the deli counter.
The store clerk suffered fractures to his face and a broken jaw.
Surveillance video released to help identify the men proved successful as one suspect has already been identified.
