Roach, rodent issues reported at several eateries

COOPER CITY, Fla. – State inspectors ordered nine kitchens shut last week due to violations that could make customers sick.

Roach issues were discovered at Classic Deli in Cooper City, Skybox Cafe in Fort Lauderdale, Taj Fine Indian Restaurant, Royal Fiesta in Deerfield Beach, Yum Yum Cafe in Miami Beach, Latin American Restaurant and La Licuadora in Miami.

Records show rodent issues were discovered at the Latin American Restaurant and Derry's in Pembroke Park.

Below is a list of places and some of their violations.

All the places mention have been allowed to reopen following an ordered cleanup and re-inspection.
