VATICAN CITY – Pope Francis put a sign saying "vietato lamentarsi" on the door to his private rooms in the Vatican, a religious expert close to the pontiff told AFP.
Vietato lamentarsi translated to English from Italian means forbidden to complain.
The sign was given to the pope by Italian psychologist and author Salvo Noe, Reuters reported. Francis promised the psychologist to put it up for a laugh.
According to the Vatican Insider, the sign in Italian said "Offenders are subjected to a syndrome of victimism that lowers the mood and ability to solve problems."
The sign also said, "Sanction is doubled if the offense is committed in the presence of children.
"To become the best of yourself, you must focus on your own potential and not on your own limits, so stop complaining and act to change your life better."
