LAUDERHILL, Fla. – A man who is known for his work with local rappers was wounded in an early Saturday morning shooting at an adult entertainment nightclub in Lauderhill.
The nightclub advertised "The Haitian Kay Kay Kingz and Queenz Edition" for the Friday night party. The event turned into panic and chaos about 3:20 a.m.
When the Lauderhill Police Department officers responded to Club 54 at 3135 W. Broward Blvd., "people were running out and there were people with blood on their shirts," Lt. Michael Santiago said.
The wounded man was at Broward General Hospital, where he was in critical but stable condition after undergoing surgery, according to Santiago.

Sending prayers up to the homie who was killed in the club last night (I won't tag him out of respect for him and his family and friends). You never know when Allah will call you back. We were just talking maybe 15 minutes prior. Could've been any of us but all praise to Allah for his protection over the believers 🙏🏾 الْحَمْدُ للَّهِ الَّذِي عَافَانِي مِمَّا ابْتَلَاكَ بِهِ وَفَضَّلَنِي عَلَى كَثِيرٍ مِمَّنْ خَلَقَ تَفْضِيلًا Alhamdu lillaahil-lathee 'aafaanee mimmab-talaaka bihi wa fadhdhalanee 'alaa katheerin mimman khalaqa tafdheela. Praise is to Allah Who has spared me what He has afflicted you with, and preferred me greatly above much of what He has created. إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un From Allah we came and to Him is our return. Ameen 🙏🏾
