MIRAMAR, Fla. – A body was pulled from a canal Monday morning in Miramar, authorities said.
Miramar police spokeswoman Tania Rues said the body was found in the water on Utopia Drive, between Coral Boulevard and Di Lido Boulevard.
Authorities said a passerby spotted the body of a man at about 10 a.m.
Local 10 News reporter Neki Mohan was at the scene as authorities were examining the body.
The victim was identified later in the day as Winston Antonio Jackson, 27, of Miami Gardens.
Authorities said there are no signs of foul play.
The cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner's office.
