$10,000 reward offered for information about hit-and-run crash that injured woman

DAVIE, Fla. – A $10,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of the driver who struck a woman with his or her vehicle last month in Davie.

The hit-and-run crash was reported at 5:45 a.m. July 21 at the intersection of Stirling Road and University Drive.

Police said the victim, Marykutty George, was struck while she was walking in the crosswalk.

She was taken to a hospital in critical condition. Her current condition has not been released. 

Authorities believe the vehicle that struck her was a light-colored or silver 2007-2012 Nissan Versa.

Anyone with information is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. 

Crime Stoppers is offering a $3,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest, and the family and friends of the victim have raised an additional $7,000 to add to the reward.  

The reward expires Aug. 1, 2018.
