He was registered as living at 6201 SW 25 St., in Miramar and at 8691 NW 24 Ct. in Sunrise. And he worked at the Hampton Hotel at 2500 Stirling Road, the Holiday Inn at 2540 Davie Road, and other hotels in the area.

About five months ago, a mother called police after her daughter told her she had been afraid to tell her that Martinez had sexually assaulted her Feb. 26.

The 32-year-old mother, who worked as a housekeeper at a hotel where Martinez worked as a manager,  brought her daughter to work after the girl refused to go to school because she was feeling sick. While the woman cleaned hotel rooms, the girl sat behind a computer in the business center.

Detectives have video showing Martinez, who worked as a manager at the hotel, walking in and out of the business center when the girl was the only one in the room. The girl told her mom and detectives that she first didn't like how he used greeting her as an excuse to hug her, kiss her and touch her inappropriately.

The girl said Martinez bought her chips and soda and walked over from behind her to tickle her and sexually assault her. According to the arrest report Martinez used his hands, fist, feet and teeth to abuse the girl.

The girl later told a detective that aside from the soda and chips, Martinez also gave her a $2 bill and said that she was going to be his "favorite girl forever and ever."

Detectives were asking anyone with information about Martinez's crimes to call the Davie Police Department at 954-693-8387 or Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
