HOUSTON – Despite being frantically warned by other motorists, a truck driver slammed into an overhead highway sign in a frightening accident caught on video.
KTRK in Houston reports the accident occurred Thursday night on the city's East Loop.
The video starts with a driver on the highway attempting to warn the truck driver that the bed of his vehicle was in the upright position.
However, those attempts failed and the truck smashed into the highway sign, sending it crumbling to the ground.
The condition of the truck driver is unknown.
