Cross-county chase ends after suspect bails out in front of Toyota Kings

OPA-LOCKA, Fla. – Police apprehended a suspect in an Opa-locka junkyard after a cross-county chase Thursday afternoon.

Sky 10 was above the scene as the man stood on the roof of a shack. The man appeared to be talking on a cellphone.

Officers surrounded the area and ordered him to get down. One of the officers then climbed up to the roof and handcuffed him.

Police were pursuing a stolen red Honda CRV that was traveling south from Pembroke Pines in Broward County.

The suspect bailed out after apparently crashing the CRV into the back of another vehicle outside Toyota Kings.

No other details were immediately known.
