According to an arrest warrant, Chang went to a Metro PCS store in Coral Gables to buy a new phone. While the employee was transferring the data from Chang's old phone to his new one as requested, the employee "saw what appeared to be pornographic images of an unknown young girl in sexual positions."

The employee called police and showed officers the pictures when they arrived.

When police confronted Chang about the pictures, he admitted that he knew about them and said they were sent to him by the child's mother.

Chang, who had an outstanding warrant from 2007 for driving with a suspended license, was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $77,000 bond.
