Suspicious package found in Miami Beach, police say

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A bomb squad responded Saturday after a suspicious package was found, Miami Beach police said.

The suspicious package was found near the footbridge on 24th Street and Collins Avenue.

Police said the Miami-Dade Police Department bomb squad responded out of an abundance of caution.

There are no road closures as of yet, police said.
