Pembroke Pines officers search for man in attempted armed robbery

Officers ask for public's help to catch man who targeted Walgreens


PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – A man pointed a gun at a Walgreens cashier and demanded cash Tuesday morning, according to the Pembroke Pines Police Department.

When the woman couldn't open the register, police officers said the man walked out empty handed from the pharmacy at 15911 Pines Boulevard. 

Detectives were asking anyone with information about the incident to call 954-431-2200 or Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
