Delray Beach man kills wife, sister-in-law and then himself, police say

4 children at home when women killed

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. – A Delray Beach man shot and killed his wife and her sister early Sunday before turning the gun on himself, police said.

Four children, between the ages of 5 and 15, were at home at the time of the shootings, but they were not hurt, Delay Beach police said.

Police found the bodies of their mother, Pierrena Rosemberg, 43, and their aunt, Lourdine Cazeau, 41, just after 8 a.m. inside the home on Northwest 13th Avenue, police said.

Police said Julien Rosemberg, 44, shot the women multiple times with a handgun and then went to the backyard and killed himself.

Police said there had been no previous calls about the family before the shooting. The children, who had to run past the bodies as they left the home, are staying with relatives.
