LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A 12-year-old youth football player is in serious condition at Broward Health Medical Center after being struck in the head via helmet-to-helmet contact during a game on Saturday, according to Lauderhill Fire Rescue.
Authorities said the boy was unresponsive when units arrived.
