MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A Miami police officer has been released from Jackson Memorial Hospital after a motorcycle crash on the Palmetto Expressway.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel found the injured officer Thursday night after his motorcycle collided with a black Cadillac in the southbound lanes of the Palmetto Expressway near West Flagler Street.
Officer Kenia Fallat, a spokeswoman for the Miami Police Department, said the officer was released from the hospital Friday morning after being treated for minor bumps and bruises.
His identity hasn't been released.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers are investigating the crash.
