BSO detectives investigate killing of Weston woman

Carolyn Espinosa, 34, found dead inside her home Wednesday afternoon

WESTON, Fla. ā€“ Broward Sheriff's Office homicide detectives are investigating the slaying of a Weston mother of three, authorities confirmed Thursday.

According to BSO spokeswoman Gina Carter, Carolyn Espinosa, 34, was found dead Wednesday afternoon inside her home at San Simeon Circle.Ā 

Homicide and Crime Scene units responded to the scene and an investigation into Espinosa's death is ongoing, Carter said.

Neighbors said Espinosa, who works as a popular brow technician, usually walked with her children to the school bus stop about 7:30 a.m.

Authorities have not disclosed how Espinosa was killed or whether they are aware of any possible suspects.Ā No arrests have been made.
