'All-out brawl' in Miami ends with 3 stabbed

Unclear what led to incident at apartment building

MIAMI – Three people were stabbed Wednesday night in Miami's Edgewater neighborhood after a large brawl.

Police said the large fight broke out at an apartment building near 25th Street and Biscayne Boulevard.

Local 10 News was told an "all-out brawl" led to the stabbing.

According to witnesses, someone who lives in the building often hosts parties and posts invites to the events on social media.

They said about 50 people were at the party Wednesday night.

"I saw a guy laid out on the ground and about 50 cops," one witness said.

Cellphone video from a tenant at a neighboring complex shows one person being handcuffed.

The person or people responsible might be linked to a yellow Lamborghini, which remained at the scene of the stabbing as of about 11 p.m. Investigators were seen focusing on the car and questioning people in the area.

This might even entail two stabbing incidents linked to the same fight, police said.

Three people were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital in stable condition.

"If someone knows anything, please come forward so we can put this puzzle together and put the person or persons responsible behind bars," Miami police spokesman Freddie Cruz said.

Those with further information are asked to call the Miami Police Department or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
