Car falls in sinkhole in flooded Hollywood street

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – After a storm flooded a street, a blue Toyota was stuck in a sinkhole Tuesday in Broward County's city of Hollywood.

The impact was hard enough that the car's airbags went off inside of the car. Officers are looking for the car owner.

The sinkhole was in front of a home and the Cathy & Bob Anderson Park at the intersection of Thomas Street and North 58th Avenue.

The Hollywood Police Department shared two photographs on Twitter. City employees from the public works department and police officers responded.
