BSO searches for missing Pompano Beach woman

Husband frantically searches for Stacey Damato, missing since Monday

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – The Broward Sheriff's Office is looking for the public's help in finding a missing Pompano Beach woman last seen Monday.

Stacey Damato, 51, was last seen wearing a white tank top, jean shorts and sneakers when leaving her house in the 2700 block of Northeast 14th Avenue on Monday morning.

Damato's husband, Anthony, said his wife was headed to the store with her purse and cell phone when she left their home. He said he's been driving around the neighborhood non-stop since his wife mysteriously disappeared.

"I started getting nervous in the afternoon, and then at 5 o'clock I called the police," Anthony Damato said.

He said they moved to South Florida several months ago.

Damato was driving her gray 2014 Cadillac CTS with Florida tag LUCP55. She has brown hair and eyes and stands 5 feet 6 inches tall.

Anyone with information on Damato's whereabouts is asked to contact BSO detectives at 954-764-4357.

"Anything anybody sees, please call," Anthony Damato said. "We need your help. Thank you."
