BAL HARBOUR, Fla. – It happened in a flash.
A 9-year-old boy took a daring dive to save his 1-year-old brother, who had rolled off a 4-foot-high changing table.
"He was going head first, and I caught him by the chest," Joseph Levi said.
The children's mother was in the room when the incident happened. She had turned around for a few seconds.
"He just appeared," Tila Levi said. "It was really a magical, miraculous moment."
Joseph agrees. It was a miracle.
"I would never be able to run that fast, either, so I felt like something came and pushed me and made me run to him," he said.
Baby Aton is doing just fine and doesn't have a scratch on him after the drop.
In the video, Levi can be seen pulling both boys for calming hugs after the incident.
"I said to him, 'Joseph, you deserve the world. What can I buy you? You need, like, a massive reward,'" Levi said.
But Joseph didn't want a gift.
"I told her that I didn't need a present for saving my brother," he said.
As for Levi, she's proud of her oldest son.
"That just answered me that I did a good job, because if he felt the responsibility to jump in there and save his brother, that was more rewarding than anything else," she said.
