NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. - An Amber Alert was canceled after a 1-year-old boy was found in Palm Beach County.

James Ricardo Morrison was found with Jameeka McIntosh and Roderico Morrison. The two are the parents of the boy, who had been last seen at his home in the 2100 block of Northeast 168th Street in North Miami Beach.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers pulled the car the trio was riding in over on Florida's Turnpike in Lake Worth. A driver reported seeing the vehicle on the Turnpike and called FHP.

"At about 4:40 this afternoon, we got contacted by the Florida Highway Patrol. They have stopped this vehicle in Palm Beach County. The vehicle contains the male, the female, and the child," said North Miami Beach Police Public Information Officer Tom Carney. "Everybody is safe and in good health. At this time, they've been separated and they're being interviewed to find out exactly what happened."

North Miami Beach police were called to an area about two blocks from the home for reports of a car being stolen. When they arrived, the car was gone, and a witness said he saw a man matching Morrison's description forcing a woman and a small boy into the car.

Morrison, 30, has a record of domestic abuse against McIntosh.

FHP troopers took Morrison into custody.
