Armed woman carjacks Flannigan's employee

Car found few blocks away in Pompano Beach

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. - Broward Sheriff's Office deputies were looking for woman who carjacked an employee of Flannigan's in Pompano Beach on Wednesday morning.

It happened in the 2500 block of E. Atlantic Boulevard about 9 a.m.

The Flannigan's employee was getting into her car when she was approached by an armed woman.

The carjacker drove away in her Nissan Rogue, which was found a few blocks away at 400 Southeast 23rd Avenue. Missing from inside the car was the employee's purse and money from Flannigan's she was going to deposit at the bank.

The carjacker is described as having short hair. She was last seen wearing a light blue shirt, a dark blue, hooded jacket and dark blue work pants.
