BSO sergeant arrested for domestic violence

Another Broward Sheriff's Office deputy has been arrested, this time for domestic violence charge.

Sgt. Dallas Crew, who works in detention, was arrested Sunday night by at his North Lauderdale home by his own department on a misdemeanor domestic violence charge.

The 22-year BSO veteran pushed the face of his long-time live-in girlfriend, Sharon Irons, "causing her prescription eyeglasses to press against her face and slightly bruise the corner of her right eye."

Crew, 46, has been suspended with pay. He's the sixth BSO deputy arrested during the five weeks. Read more about those cases here.
