All-clear given after bomb threat reported at Miami Beach JCC

Police say someone called JCC, threatened to blow up building

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A bomb threat was reported Wednesday morning at the Miami Beach Jewish Community Center.

Miami Beach police said the JCC received a call from someone who threatened to blow up the building.

Police ordered an evacuation while they investigated the threat.

A stretch of Pine Tree Drive was closed between 41st and 43rd streets because of the threat.

Police said no bomb was found, and the all-clear was given.

More than a dozen Jewish centers throughout the U.S. received bomb threats last week, including two in South Florida.
